On Tuesday this week the Chambré team were delighted to support the Halifax Foundation Northern Ireland in organising their 2017 Stormont Reception. This annual event celebrates the contribution of hundreds of local charities around Northern Ireland as well as acknowledging the support provided by the Foundation and its local staff. This year over 80 charities attended the event in the Long Gallery, it was a great opportunity for MLAs and officials to engage with charities and learn about plans for the future. In 2016 the Halifax Foundation NI provided nearly £1m of grant funding to over 300 local charities, focused on disadvantaged communities and the disabled. A new funding initiative “Pitching4Pounds” was launched on the night, offering charities the opportunity to pitch to the Foundation Trustees to win £15,000 for their organisation.
